To take the recertification training, the student must have completed an IATF 16949:2016 Lead Auditor training. If they have an IATF 16949:2016 Lead Auditor certificate, they can take the recertification course at any time. ISO/TS 16949 certificates are not eligible for the IATF 16949:2016 Lead Auditor recertification course.
